The Columbus Buddy Walk is one of our family's favorite days of the year. We are looking forward to another year of celebrating Addie and the many other local individuals with Down Syndrome. We love celebrating with our friends and family, whethere in person or in spirit, on this special day.
Over five years ago our world was rocked when we learned that our baby girl would be born with Down Syndrome. The unknown seemed overwhelming and scary. Little did we know how much joy Addie would add to our life. We cannot imagine life without her. In her five years of life Addie has taught of so much already and we look forward to all the ways she will continue to bless our family and friends.
Addie's personality is big and her love for others is even bigger. She is full of joy, fiercely independent, stubborn when she wants to be, energetic and silly. Addie is preparing for her last year of preschool. She is going to play soccer again, loves to sing and dance, has decided that swimming is the best, and is a comedian.
We are excited to fundraise on behalf of the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO) and support the local programs and services they provide.
