Brock started working for Colorado Outward Bound School in January of 2022 as the Leadville Mountain Center’s Facilities Manager.  After almost 20 years in the ski industry and working various construction jobs he was ready to do something more with his life.  The first year went so well Brock was asked to step up to Facilities Director for all of COBS.  What he loves most about the job is the variety of work.  You never know what the day will bring, whether it be herding cattle off the property, training facilities staff in new skills, writing OSHA safety trainings, planning and implementing mini remodels, heavy equipment operations, fire mitigation, or collecting honey pots its all in a good day’s work.
