Why Am I Involved With Junior Achievement

Why did I decide to volunteer with JA?

As the Director for Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Northwest area I have been committed to the mission for more than 12 years.  The reason I am still so passionate are the stories I see and the JA experiences I am able to take part in and volunteer myself.  I love seeing the way students ask the hard questions when I am in a 2nd grade classroom, and the fact that they love seeing me come back each time.  I get excited when I see hundreds of middle schools students take part in a  JA in a Day experience exploring careers and hearing from our own community members.  No matter what age a student, we are reaching each one with essential life skills to help build their future job or career.  I consider this doing our part creating a strong collaboration with the business and education community.  The students are Inspiring our Tomorrows.
