Why Am I Involved With Junior Achievement

Why did I decide to volunteer with JA?

I was looking for a way to get involved with the community here in Chippewa Valley and I had volunteered for JA years ago.  I have always been passionate about working with youth, mostly in coaching youth sports, but here was another great way for me to help kids get more exposure to life lessons as well as their education.  Whether it be teaching a class on how to be an entrepreneur, job skills, or possible career paths, JA provides me an opportunity to pursue that passion and work with the youth in the Chippewa Valley.  The year of 2020 has provided new challenges for all of us to learn to teach in a virtual setting, as opposed to the classroom, but the education process continues and JA needs our help to fund these programs.

I am asking for your support so together we can empower young people to own their economic success! 

 JA programs provide sound economic and business programs to more than 18,500 students in the Chippewa Valley area!  Your gift is essential to making Junior Achievement possible in our Chippewa Valley Classrooms.  Thanks for your gift of opportunity.
