Why Am I Involved With Junior Achievement
Why did I decide to volunteer with JA?
I was looking for a way to get involved with the community but was struggling to find an organization I was passionate about. I heard about JA from one of my co-workers who had a great experience volunteering in a classroom. When I found out about JA’s commitment to teaching financial literacy I realized it was the right fit for me. I am very passionate about living with financial stability without debt, but didn’t get any information about how to do this in school. It wasn’t until I was elbow deep in student loans that I realized I could have done things differently. I want to help kids avoid making the same mistakes that I did.
I am asking for your support so together we can empower young people to own their economic success!
JA programs provide sound economic and business programs to more than 18,500 students in the Chippewa Valley area! Your gift is essential to making Junior Achievement possible in our Chippewa Valley Classrooms. Thanks for your gift of opportunity.
