We’re thrilled to announce Owen County Cooks for Kids—a lively and heartwarming fundraising event where local community stars transform into “chefs” for one unforgettable evening, all in support of a great cause! In our inaugural year, the theme is Chef’s World Tour—an exciting opportunity to showcase your favorite musical genre, band, or personal sound.

This isn’t your typical culinary showcase—it’s about heart, creativity, and community. Our chefs won’t be judged on fancy techniques, but on how much joy, flavor, and support they can stir up!
As a Chef, You’ll Be Expected To:

Cook & Present Your Favorite Dish: Share something you love—homemade, heartfelt, and full of flavor.

Decorate Your Station & Dress Up: Let your creativity shine with themed station decor and costumes. This year’s theme is MUSIC! Dress as your favorite musical genre, band, artist, or personal sound.

Engage the Crowd: Encourage folks to visit your station, taste your dish, and enjoy the evening.

Rally your Community & Raise $500: Every dollar counts! Fundraise from family, friends, colleagues to support our cause. Compete for the coveted TOP CHEF title by collecting the most donations by November 1st.

Have Fun and Be Enthusiastic: No culinary resume needed, just a big dose of spirit and commitment to the cause.
All contributions will go directly toward the Boys & Girls Club of Owen County, helping make a real difference for kids who need us most in Owen County.
