Objectives: turf for the infield, fencing, and landscaping
Late snows and soggy conditions in spring 2015 cost baseball $20,000 in unanticipated travel, hotel, meals, and field rental for games and practice. Turf will save such expenses year after year.
Turf, fencing, and landscaping can generate revenue. Schools and community leagues can rent The Coop for tournaments or when their fields are not playable. Fencing and landscaping will allow gate fees during summer tournaments. Such revenue will make Marauder baseball more self-sustaining.
