In honor of my 50th birthday this year, I am fundraising for Leader Dogs for the Blind! I have spent half of my life volunteering or working for Leader Dog. This is a program that I am passionate about! Leader Dog is a 501(c)3 whose mission is empowering people who are blind or visually impaired with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. All of the services and programs they provide are at absolutely NO CHARGE to the clients, which is pretty amazing.
Leader Dog does not receive any state or federal funding so every little bit counts! If you would have sent a card, bought a gift, taken me out for coffee or a meal, stopped by to chat, brought treats or flowers. Please instead make this gift special and help me in supporting Leader Dog to help change the lives of so many in need.
