"Keepin' it real, uh yeah. Life gets tough, s*** is getting real. I don't know how to feel. Swallowing all these pills. Know my real feels. Devil standing here, tryna' make a deal." Juice WRLD, a popular rapper, spoke those words in his 2019 song "Empty". He died of an overdose the year after. His death surprisingly effected our students deeply. They related to how he felt. They felt like they lost a hero. Someone who put into music how they felt in their own hearts. Many of our teens feel empty. They are constantly battling with the temptations of this world. They are constantly fighting demons. We rappel for them. We rappel because we want them to see the light and be free in Jesus. We rappel so that the emptiness may be filled with the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ Himself.
