Who are we?
We are a student led organization at Cedar Park High School that focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathmatics) education. Impressive right?!
But then....
We put it all together and WE BUILD ROBOTS!
Not only do we build 'em but we compete with the robots too. Think super bowl with lots of technology and cheering fans. It's SUPER cool and we have a ton of fun.
Where Does the Money Go?
As you can imagine, it takes LOTS of resources to do what we LOVE to do.
- Software - we speak ROBOT!
- Computers - our friendly translators
- Equipment - design, drill and construct
- Tools - more than a hammer & screwdriver
- Parts - metal, wires and techy parts
- Travel Cost - haven't figured out teleportation yet
- Community outreach - growing the next robot fans
REAL money facts: a controller costs over $500 and a swerve drive (that's the part that helps the robot move in multiple directions) costs over $3500 (and that's not a high end one)!
We have dreams of making us better, learning more, and let's be real... winning more competitions.
