Every week, around 19,000 people enter homelessness. That number is difficult to imagine, but behind it are real people, families, and children who deserve safety, stability, and hope.

Someone from Crisis House recently spoke to my class, and hearing about the work they do to support people experiencing homelessness and domestic violence genuinely stayed with me. I know these are overwhelming issues, but we don’t have to solve everything at once.

Even $20 can help provide a week of transportation for someone getting to work, appointments, or essential services. If you’re able, consider redirecting the money from a routine Starbucks run or small purchase toward helping someone build a safer, brighter future.
