The CTA Annual Scholarship Dinner & Auction will be held at Columbus Torah Academy on Sunday, December 11, 2022. The evening is a celebration of the importance of giving our children a Jewish education and will honor the teachers who teach, the students who learn, the parents who partner, and the investors who support a CTA education.
The evening will feature special recognition to our esteemed honorees whose contributions stand out. Our honorees are:
Distinguished Service Award to Lev and Lidia Kucherski who are alumni parents and long time generous supporters of CTA since the early 1980's when they arrived from the Former Soviet Union and then paid it forward by helping other families from FSU to give their children a CTA education and connect them to the Jewish community
Volunteer Award to Roman and Victoria Ilin who are current CTA parents and are consistent volunteers in many areas of the school. Victoria serves on the Board of Trustees, as Chair of the Finance Committee, as PTO Treasurer, and Roman has contributed time and resources for school programming
Distinguished Community Service Award to Rabbi Howard Zack, Senior Rabbi at Congregation Torat Emet, CTA Board Member, alumni parent, and advocate for the important role that CTA plays in the Columbus Jewish community
All proceeds for the Scholarship Dinner go to the Scholarship Fund to ensure that every Jewish child can afford an education at CTA.
We look forward to greeting you on December 11. Purchase tickets and show your support.
Since the first CTA Scholarship Dinner in 1961, the Tribute Journal has been an important part of the Scholarship Dinner with proceeds going directly to support education and student scholarships. The Journal is a chance to advertise a business or show your gratitude to the honorees, teachers, and school.
