On May 13th, I am participating in the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut's Walk to End Epilepsy event. This is the largest fundraising and awareness event in Connecticut to benefit the local epilepsy community. The funds raised by the participants will help sponsor the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut. The foundation strives to be a source of information, to educate people about epilepsy, to advocate for people living with epilepsy, and to raise awareness. Being diagnosed with epilepsy is a challenging experience, and navigating the struggles and changes that come with that is even more challenging. The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut has provided me with support during my epilepsy journey and helped me connect with people who are also living with epilepsy.
