We're on the Straightaway!
We are closing in on the final days of the Cuddeback Endurance Challenge, and I am in awe of the progress we have made in just a few short weeks! I've said it before but it can't be said it enough: I am brimming with gratitude to everyone who has been able to donate to this truly worthy cause so far. Our community continues to show unparalleled generosity and support for one another, especially for those facing some of their most challenging times. But the reality is we still have some work to do. We've just crossed the halfway point to our goal of $50,000, and while it might seem like a steep hill to climb in under 36 hours, this group can conquer any challenge. I've got 11 rounds, 15 hours, 200 holes of golf, and a whole bunch of pb&j sandwiches to get me through on Monday. Show your support of the Gifts of Love mission and join the challenge today!
Our first anonymous match milestone has been met! Our very own Steve Hahn, surely familiar to all of you as the host of Steve's Caddy Corner, will see $1,000 of his donation matched! Thank you, Steve, for your generous donation supporting Gifts of Love, and thank you to our anonymous donor for the generous match! See ya out there bright and early Monday morning, Steve!
We also have a couple of donors willing to up the ante pending my performance on Monday: Nan Waite says she will "...add a dollar for every hole you complete," and someone named Kevin Cuddeback says, "Good luck!!! Great organization - happy to give more if you are still alive after the day. $200 for a hole in one." Whelp, my logo does say, "It's an ace!" No pressure though, nope. I'm on it, Nan and Kevin.
