Covid Update

Our guests’ safety during the gala is of paramount importance to Nemours Children’s.

  • Have you experienced a loss of smell or taste, persistent cough or shortness of breath, sore throat, or fever over the last 10 days?
  • Have you been in close contact with someone sick with known or suspected COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

If you answered yes to either question, we request that you stay at home on September 17, 2022, and be sure to join us next year.

All guests must wear a mask on the shuttles (which we will provide). Please practice safe distancing and hand washing. Masks are not required during the gala but will be available for guests at our safety station at the registration table. Thank you for your cooperation.

Where To Park

From Rockland Road, enter the Nemours Children’s Hospital campus grounds at the Staff Entrance, directly across from the Ronald McDonald House. Look for the Guest Parking signs and proceed to the Staff Parking Garage on the right. Park and make your way to the open lot and look for the Night with Nemours shuttle signs. From there, the shuttles will be taking all guests round trip to the event location on the estate grounds with first shuttles departing no earlier than 5:55 p.m.

If you plan to arrive/depart by ride share or taxi, please have your driver follow the Guest Parking signs and drop you off/pick up at the staff parking garage shuttle stop in the open lot so you can take the event shuttles to and from the estate grounds. No personal vehicles will be allowed to enter the estate grounds.

If you have accessibility needs, please contact us directly.

What To Expect

We have reimagined the event format to keep things fun, exciting and safe.  We have upgraded the design to give you a unique sensory adventure under multiple open-air tents. You will be greeted in the Versailles Reception Tent with butler-passed culinary delights, then enter the French Countryside Main Tent where you will enjoy distinctive food stations, full bar, and a great dance band. After the cocktail reception, you will be invited to continue your adventure as you stroll into the different Parisian Café Tents, experiencing an array of different French-themed dinner stations, wine bars, specialty cocktails and several of the region’s best entertainers. There will be a short program where we will introduce our beneficiary this year and show a short video. After the program ends, continue to roam from tent to tent, or settle in the main tent to dance the night away!

This is a tented event, and is rain or shine.

What To Wear

Festive Cocktail Attire
(Black Tie Optional)

In keeping with the fresh new event theme, feel free to don your festive and stylish cocktail attire. European fashions are welcome, including fascinators, hats and unique pocket squares. Women can pull off anything from a fun cocktail dress, to a elegant pantsuit, to a fancy gown.

Men can wear anything from black tie to a sport coat...live it up, this is going to be the best event of the season! We also recommend that you dress according to the forecasted weather. Even though our tents will have sturdy flooring, please consider wearing comfortable shoes as you stroll around the tents throughout the evening. And even though we have ordered perfect weather, if it does rain during the week prior to the event, be aware that the grounds entering the tent may be soft.

When To Arrive

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. To fully enjoy all of the different parts of the event, please plan to arrive close to the start time. Starting at 5:55 p.m., there will be continuous shuttles running between the parking garage and estate grounds throughout the evening as there is no parking at the event site.

Following the event, the last shuttle to the parking garage will be departing the registration tent at 11:30 p.m. sharp. Please make sure you make that last shuttle as there is no other way off the secured estate grounds to get to the parking garage.

Due to safety and security precautions, guests are to take the shuttles onto the grounds and will not be allowed to walk onto the Estate Grounds.

This event is not a sit down, served dinner and there is no assigned seating unless you purchase a partnership package.
