I am very excited to be participating in the Young Heroes Car Parade on September 26, 2021 to raise funds for the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (NCCBD) at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Sadly, cancer and blood disorders touches so many children’s lives.  

These little heroes endure harsh treatments and numerous days in the hospital.  They have to miss the little joys of childhood from playing on the swings, watching movies on the couch with their siblings, and even spending the holidays at home. My hope is that we will find cures and better treatments so they can live long and healthy lives.  I believe every child deserves the chance of a healthy future.
