We are very excited to be holding our event Sparkle Bright 2021 where our young clients shine by helping others! From Aug. 7- Sept. 11 we will be fundraising to support the Young Heroes Car Parade which is held on September 26, 2021 to raise funds for the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (NCCBD) at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Sadly, cancer and blood disorders touches so many children’s lives. We will have raffle baskets in Cookie Cutters from August 7th thru Sept. 11th for this event. We will hold a Family Fun day event at the salon on Sept. 11th! Join in for this wonderful cause by donating for your raffle tickets for your chance to win amazing baskets and join on us on Sept. 11th for fun acitivites for your children.
These little heroes endure grueling treatments and many days in the hospital. They must miss many of childhood's little joys like playing on the swings, watching movies on the couch with their siblings, and even spending the holidays in the comfort of their own home. Our hope is that we will find cures and better treatments so they can live long and healthy lives. We believe every child deserves the chance of a healthy future.
