Our team will be fundraising for the Young Heroes Car Parade on September 26, 2021, in honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We are raising funds for research and patient programs at Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (NCCBD) at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Sadly, cancer and blood disorders touch so many children’s lives. These young heroes endure grueling treatments and numerous days, weeks, even months in the hospital. They have to miss many of the little joys of childhood including playing on the swings, participating in sports, watching movies on the couch with their siblings, and even spending the holidays at home.
The hope is that one day cures and better treatments are found so these children will live long and healthy lives and one day be healthy enough to join our FBBC Famiy! Lewes FBBC believes every child deserves the chance of a healthy future.
Our team goal is to raise $3,000 (YES we can!!). This goal is no different from our FBBC goals: show up, work hard, committ to seeing a change.
