About Me!
Rebecca Maloney is an accomplished leader and outdoor enthusiast who brings passion, energy, and heart to everything she does. Originally from Vail, Colorado, Rebecca made the move to Bend, Oregon, 3½ years ago to embrace a new chapter filled with adventure, community, and personal growth. With a strong background in technology and leadership, she has built a career around driving innovation while always staying grounded in her core values of connection and compassion. Outside of her professional accomplishments, Rebecca is an avid ultra runner, constantly pushing herself through endurance challenges that fuel both her mind and spirit. She also loves spending time outdoors skiing, golfing, and paddleboarding, making the most of Central Oregon’s natural beauty. Her greatest joys come from the time she spends with her partner, Kurtis, and their two beloved dogs, Mazy and Hunter, and her foster horses Devon and Mocha, who are truly like her children. Rebecca has a deep passion for children’s programs and giving back to her community. She proudly serves on the Board of Directors and acts as Volunteer Coordinator for Equine Outreach, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating horses in need. This work combines Rebecca’s love for animals with her desire to make a meaningful difference. Rebecca’s journey, from the mountains of Vail to the vibrant community of Bend, is a reflection of her belief in growth, resilience, and living life to the fullest. Whether on the trail, at the lake, or volunteering, she is always moving forward with purpose and heart.
About my Pro Partner!
Tyler Haas began his dance career in college at the University of Oregon, where his passion for movement led him to take almost every dance class available. Through that exploration, he found his true passion to be for Argentine Tango. In the past 16 years, Tyler has danced and taught tango all over the world, from Buenos Aires to New Zealand. Together with his partner Emma, Tyler has been teaching Tango in Bend for the past 9 years.Tyler participated in his first fundraiser for Sparrow Clubs with 2019’s Swinging with the Stars, in which Tyler and his partner Megan won the judge’s choice award. Tyler is excited to be returning for another year of fundraising for this wonderful organization and putting on a showstopping performance!
