Dana Smith
About Me!
Dana was born in Southern California and moved to the Rogue Valley in 1988 with her family, where she now resides with her husband and three kids. She attended South Medford High School and is a proud alum of the U of O, where she graduated from the College of Education and then earned a Master of Special Education from SOU in 2001. She taught Special Education at Kennedy Elementary, then became a stay-at-home mom to support her Family Land Developer Business. She now takes her experience and licensure in education outside of the classroom for flexibility of travel, family support, and better health. She is a Professional Tennis Instructor and Coach and enjoys working with middle and high school kids. She loves working in an active profession that promotes wellness and fun. Dana is a member of the Hillcrest Committee and Asante Foundation Cancer Champion, and she takes pride in her work as a philanthropist. The Hillcrest Committee is a proud Community Sponsor of Sparrow Clubs, where members enjoy meeting local Sparrow Families and attending the organization’s Sparrow launch assemblies. Dana plans to bring awareness to businesses within our community about Sparrow Clubs while raising significant support for the organization.
