I've had the pleasure of joining many of DAP's walks over the years and a lot of you have generously supported me. This will be my 1st since getting both knees and a hip replaced...procedures I was able to have done thanks to access to great doctors and hospitals. Now, I can walk with ease again.
Historically, the LGBTQ+ community has faced disproportionate health care challenges. That's a reality that persists today and something I hope to help change. By walking on October 26, we are striving for a future where health care is accessible to everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or socioeconomic status.
At DAP Health, everyone is welcome, with no one ever turned away due to their inability to pay.
