We're raising money for the Downtown Berkeley YMCA which helps strengthen our community through programs and services focused on:

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
By keeping kids active and engaged, with activities to increase reading, writing and math skills, Summer Day Camp offers the chance to halt learning loss. Last year, 50% of the children in our Summer Day Camp programs received financial assistance.

HEALTHY LIVING
The Downtown Berkeley YMCA provides a safe environment for swimmers of all ages. With financial assistance, hundreds of children will learn water safety skills, discover the health benefits of swimming and build confidence.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The Y helps young people with the after-school academic support and enrichment they need in the YMCA-PG&E Teen Center. Over 200 low-income high school students in the Y-Scholars program receive comprehensive, free academic and social services to increase graduation rates and enrollment in post-secondary education.
