We are walking in honor of our son, Noah. He was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), a critical and rare congenital heart defect. Noah fought with so much strength and resilience, but at 2.5 months old his body could not fight any longer and we had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy.
Every 15 minutes in the United States, a baby is born with a congenital heart defect, making CHDs the most common birth defect in our country. The Congenital Heart Walk is dedicated to making a difference and aims to raise funds to support The Children's Heart Foundation in its quest to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs by funding groundbreaking research.
We hope to honor Noah's life by contributing to research that can save and enhance the lives of infants like him born with CHDs, as well as children and adults living with these conditions. Your support makes a significant impact, and for that, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all that join our team and walk for Noah and all that support our team.
