Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for this year's Dempsey Challenge!

Hi, I'm Mackenna, I'm 12 years old and starting middle school! This is my second year participating in the Dempsey Challenge 5K. This year, the cause is even more personal for me because I’ve watch my Pepere battle 2 cancers and my Mom battle breast cancer aggressively for 6 months and counting. Watching her go through a double mastectomy and almost 5 months of aggressive chemotherapy has been a tough because she still has such a long treatment journey. So this year I will be honoring them during the Dempsey Challenge 5K run! 

I'm so grateful for the support and help we continuously receive from the Dempsey Center staff during this challenging time. Now, I want to give back and help other cancer patients and their families, just like us.

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey.
