Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for the 2025 Dempsey Challenge!

This is my 16th year participating in the Challenge.  I will once again be riding my bicycle for this event.  In addition to this being my personal 16th Challenge, it is also the 10th year for my team, DROP CANCER.

We have all been affected in one way or another by cancer.  Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey, makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.  The Dempsey Challenge is the premier fundraising event for the Center.

If you know me, you know that riding in the Dempsey Challenge is an intensely personal event.  The diagnosis for Nancy Roberts, the wife of an employer and mother of a friend, was the catalyst for me becoming involved with the Dempsey Challenge.  My passion for the event increased over the years until its whole meaning changed when I lost my dad to Cancer in 2022.  I can not thank my friends, family, and acquaintances enough for there overwhelming generosity over the years.  You've helped me raise more than $45,000 in that time!  I cant wait to see what milestone we hit this year... may be $50,000... $55,000?
