Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for this year's Dempsey Challenge!

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.

Not only am I partaking in this journey for the Dempsey Center, but also for my amazing Aunt Sam. She has been an amazing advocate for me and has always remained by my side no matter what others said or felt. Our journey is unique, I met her when I was 24 looking for my bio-dad and she was my first call after taking an ancestry test. She helped me navigate a difficult time with ease and love. I'll forever be grateful for her. In the last year she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been a warrior fighting it head on with a smile on her face. I wish to only be as strong as her.
