I am a 44 year old wife and working mom who unfortunately found out I had breast cancer in October 2024. My grandmother passed away at age 37 in 1970 of breast cancer. I have many family members who have dealt with cancer and most recently lost an uncle this December. I had surgery, 4 months of chemotherapy in 16 rounds of radiation. I ended treatment June 2025. I consider myself a survivor! I'll be participating in the Dempsey challenge this September 20th 2025. This is a 5K road race to raise money for the Dempsey center. The Dempsey Center offers free services for people affected by cancer. Help me raise money for this cause close to my heart!
