Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for this year's Dempsey Challenge!

After being diagnosed with cancer at 32, I was floundering. I didn't know what to do or how to move forward, or how to manage the many side effects that cancer treatment brings. My doctors (all four of them)--while incredible--could not provide all the answers to me. At the suggestion of my surgical oncologist, I became a client at the Dempsey Center. I have not regretted it for a second since! It is an amazing organization that offers so many services to those affected by cancer. The groups and classes/workshops have helped me to learn how to deal with side effects, how to wrap my head around what I have gone through and what's to come, and introduced me to some pretty awesome people.

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.
