I have created "Team Brenda" and invite anyone who would love to walk in honor of her or,  in support of our family, to join us! Two years ago I walked with her, last year was the first year I walked in honor of her. It was beautiful and powerful, as we crossed the finish line with our "Team Brenda" shirts on, the crowd was chanting her name..."Brenda, Brenda, Brenda" and it was such a special moment. She was with all of us I am sure, as she will be again this year. Having a group of people together who love my mom and my family is something I look forward to as it keeps my mom's spirt alive. 

I am also looking to fundraise for the Dempsey Center which is an amazing organization who supports individuals with cancer. My mom personally utilized some of their free services, support groups, was given a wig and several others. The services are free due to the fundraising and support the Dempsey Challenge offers.
