Excited to finally participate in the Dempsey Challenge !
I'm training for the 65 mile ride this September 20th, check out my fundraising page, all proceeds go to the Dempsey Center here in Maine! Some of you may know that I work in non-profit fundraising fulltime with United Way of Southern Maine. I also am an Instructor at Jibe Cycling Studio in Portland & Yarmouth. I am ready to combine my love for cycling with my skills in fundraising to help this incredible organization, more information on the Dempsey Center below.
The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.
