Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for Dempsey Challenge 2025! 

Once again, we will be participating in the Dempsey Challenge.  Sadly, the Dempsey Challenge has changed and the walk events conflict with the biking events these days, so the kids will not be participating :(  Nate & I will be participating in the 25 mile bicycle ride on September 20th to spread hope, raise funds and awareness, and support everyone who is impacted by cancer.  We are so inspired by the love and support of this organization that we had to do the challenge again (it's my 8th year participating!).   As of this year, we have raised over $11,000 for the Dempsey Center and we could not have done it without your help!  Thank you!!

I'll be riding in remembrance and in support of many family & friends who have been affected by cancer.  As you may or may not know, my biological mother passed away at the age of 34 from leukemia, just after my third birthday.  This year I will be dedicating my ride to a beautiful friend who is currently fighting cancer with rounds of chemo.  She's been on my mind every mile of my training.  I'll also be riding for my Dad, Mom, Aunt Ginny, Grandma & Grandpa Charlton, Uncle Don, Nate's Uncle Sonny, Uncle Jim, Uncle Bob, Aunt Kay, my friend Colleen's mom, Cathy, and my college friend, Raquel.  There are many other family & friends who will be in my thoughts while I ride, as cancer is sadly affecting so many these days.
