The Team Paul story: My friend Susan Hamlett lost her husband Paul Riechmann to cancer in November 2024. He was a perennial road biker, and he always raised money for MS because a dear friend of theirs suffers from MS. When Paul was very ill, both he and Sue got support of some kind from the Dempsey Center. Sue and I thought creating Team Paul would be a good way to give back in his memory.

We're raising money for the Dempsey Center!

We're excited to come together to participate in Dempsey Challenge, a fundraiser supporting the Dempsey Center. Founded by actor and Maine native, Patrick Dempsey, the Dempsey Center's mission is to make life better for people impacted by cancer. Our collective passion for this cause drives us, and we need your support to make a difference! Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
