Meals on Wheels at Family Service Rochester provides home-delivered meals to anyone in need, regardless of age or income. Our unique approach allows not only older adults but also individuals with disabilities, recovering from an illness or other needs to receive a meal.

Often, the daily check-in by our volunteers is as nourishing as the meal itself. This daily visit provides precious assurance for recipients and their families. Regularly, volunteers have been first on the scene to find a recipient who has fallen or needs emergency help. The peace of mind the provides to individuals and families is simply priceless.

Meals are provided on an ability-to-pay basis. Each person receiving meals pays only the amount they can afford. Currently, over 92% of recipients need help covering the full cost of the meals.
