In a world turned upside down during a terrifying pandemic, our DESC Defenders have been pushed to the brink, but they have never wavered in their fight against poverty. With the effects of COVID-19, more neighbors are finding themselves in crisis – in fact, 35 percent of families coming to DESC are first-time visitors.
Thankfully, Captain Underwear, Commander Current, Princess Pantaloons and Queen Appétit continue to champion the cause to meet these needs. Together, with you, it’s an unbeatable team.
