I’m walking to support the services of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.   

In 2020, we adopted Ava, a 3-legged shepherd mix, from the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. Thanks to the rescue efforts of the PSAS she has been a blessing to our family.

Our team slogan for this event, " Embrace the Paw-sibilities!"

The shelter is committed to guiding a community for responsible pet stewardship and the humane treatment of animals.  The shelter cares for nearly 4,500 animals every year and provides the highest standard of medical care to each one.

A few of the lifesaving programs of the shelter include: low-cost adoption programs, low and no-cost spay & neuter clinics, a trap-nueter-return cat community program, low-cost public vaccine clinics, a pet food bank for low income individuals, humane education, foster and hospice programs, and microchipping.  To learn more about all the services provided by the shelter, go to https://psanimalshelter.org/
