Our Event Honoree
Kathy Hay Stine was a member of the Family Promise of Essex County Board of Trustees from 2012-2022. An active member of Wyoming Presbyterian Church in Milburn, Kathy also volunteered with FPE (formerly IHN), often spending the night providing hospitality when families experiencing homelessness were guests at the church. Kathy became President of the Board in 2015 and served as Board President for three years. She led the organization through a difficult time of transition, leading the search for a new Executive Director in both 2015 and 2021.

Event Details
Driving Home Hope is Family Promise of Essex County's signature fundraising event of 2024. We are excited to celebrate alongside longtime supporters of FPE, while also welcoming new friends to become part of our community.
We are delighted to announce our honoree for the evening is Kathy Hay Stine, former Board Chair and a devoted advocate and supporter of FPE since 2012.
Our evening will begin downstairs at The Avenue A Club, in the distinctive automotive showcase, a collaboration with Signature Series Cars and Arena Motors. Dozens of unique and exclusive vehicles have all been strategically housed in a completely renovated, century-old building.
Downstairs, guests will be treated to a reception featuring street food from around the world, in addition to beer, wine, sangria and a specialty Signature Fall Cocktail. And enjoy a tasting of Three Brooks Bourbon, while listening to the sounds of TD Bank Jazz for Teens students from NJPAC.
Next, we will ascend to the main event space that overlooks the impressive car showcase. where a plentiful buffet of favorite Ironbound District dishes awaits. The evening will be filled with vibrant music and engaging conversations, alongside a live auction and other exciting opportunities to donate and support FPE.
