How To Register

You and your friends and family can easily register by clicking "Register" on the right side of the page. From there, you can either register as an individual or team! 

If you register as a team, you will have the opportunity to be, or assign a team leader. The team leader will have their unique donation page they can send to family and friends!

If you do not want to register, or be on a team, you can simply donate to the cause by clicking "Donate" on the right hand side. Your support is appreciated!

What is Disarm the Harm?

Disarm the Harm is a fundraising and awareness campaign launched by the EOD Warrior Foundation.  The goal is to raise $150,000 by October 10th for the Foundation’s focus on mental health and suicide prevention, and to raise general awareness about the Explosive Ordnance Disposal mission and those who serve and have served under this badge. 


How do I collect funds?
When you register, you can customize your online donation page so that you can make requests and receive donations online. The system has a pre-uploaded template letter that you can customize, and email out simply by entering in the email addresses of your family and friends. You can also share the link to your social media outlets. Once you are registered, you can begin seeking donations right away.

FAQs

Can I take donations in the form of a check or cash? How do I submit donation checks I
receive?
All donors who wish to contribute to your fundraising goal, should make checks payable to the
EOD Warrior Foundation, and send them back to you. You will collect them and mail them with
your name and information to:

You can mail checks multiple times throughout the challenge, but it is recommended to collect
and mail them in when you have several, or every couple of weeks.

How is my money credited?
Online donations will be credited through your personal donation page, and all mailed checks
will be credited to your total once they are received in the office.


Are donations tax deductible?
Yes, all donations to the EOD Warrior Foundation for this campaign are tax deductible. Online
donations receive an automatic receipt and letters will be mailed for check donations.


What are the dates of the contest?
The contest runs from September 1, 2023 through October 10, 2023. Prizes will be mailed in
mid-October.


What are the deadlines?
All donations must be made, or postmarked (if mailing in checks) by October 10, 2023 to count
towards totals considered for prizes. The deadline to register is October 16th, 2023.
