This will be my first half-marathon and I couldn't be doing it with a better team. I'm 23 years old from Glendale Heights, Illinois and graduated from Iowa State University in 2022. I've been working for Theta Delta Chi since June of this year and have been locked in with the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Austism since my undergraduate days. I've always enjoyed running but have only ever ran in two, maybe three 5k's so this is a new challenge for me. I'm up for it though and I'm super excited to be participating this year!!

Representing Theta Delta Chi and the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism serves as huge motivation for me running. The two organizations have made such a lasting impact on my life so I couldn't be more hyped and grateful to run on behalf of them. Having been on staff with Theta Delta Chi for the last six months I've been granted so many great opportunities and this race is another example of that.
I'm also a firm believer in pushing myself out of my comfort zone so that's been a huge motivator for me too. I love to challenge myself and I feel this is a great way to do so while representing two organizations I love. I'd like to say I'm a pretty decent runner but this is a new frontier for me so I'm looking forward to challenging myself. I think this will also open the door for me to participate in more races in the future.
Running with my Theta Delt brothers is also something that hypes me up for this race and motivates me to do the best that I can. I've been introduced to brothers from all across the nation through my work and I'm so blessed to be able to run alongside some of those brothers this year. My brothers spur me on to be the best I can be and I couldn't be more grateful for them.
