As most of you probably know, I was born with a heart defect, prompting heart surgery within days of being born. This was the major influence that motivated me to pursue my career in medicine, where I now get to care for patients who have had similar experiences as my own. I am thrilled to run for the Children's Hearts Foundation team, Hearts that Race for the Disneyland 10k, to support continued research in congenital heart disease.
