Hello friends,

Thanks so much for supporting me as I prepare for the Disney Princess half-marathon, and as I raise vital funds for kids at Nemours...especially VIP's (Very Important Patients) like my pal Kira. She's an incredible 11 year-old who has been fighting cancer for the last year - and continues to fight. 

This year, I am #RunningForKira. Normally, I love the thrill of the race and the bling at the end. But this year, when I cross the finish line after 13.1 miles, my thrill will be knowing that because of YOU, our kids at Nemours, including Kira, will have access to vital child life programs like art, music, and pet therapy when they are in the hospital.

Thank you for believing in our promise to treat every child as we would our own.100% of your gift will directly impact the lives of children at Nemours Children's Hospital through the Child Life program. These programs have made a difference to Kira over the last year.

So thank you again a few times more! I say thanks for supporting me in this crazy run habit I've developed. I say thank you for making a gift to help the kids at Nemours. And I say thank you for keeping Kira in your thoughts and prayers. No child should EVER have to fight the cancer battle but until that day comes - thank you for giving hope and healing!
