WHAT are DIY Fundraisers?
Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Fundraisers are activites led by individuals, businesses and groups in the community to raise money for a cause. Nonprofits, like HSPPR, rely on DIY Fundraisers to help continue providing our humane programs and animal welfare services to the people and pets in our community.
WHO are DIY Fundraisers?
DIY Fundraisers are individuals, businesses and groups (schools, social clubs and sports teams to name a few) who have a passion for helping their community.
WHY be DIY Fundraisers?
Help save more lives by celebrating a special event – birthday, anniversary, graduation, engagement, wedding, or holiday – with donations to help homeless animals instead of gifts. Last year, DIY Fundraisers raised more than $12,000 to help the abused, homeless and neglected animals in our community. That's about 480 animal care days, 240 spays/neuters, or emergency care and treatment for 12 animals rescued from a cruelty situation.
