Please join me in supporting Children's TherAplay on Tuesday, March 29 for their annual Day of Giving. Day of Giving is an important way Children's TherAplay raises funds for their transformational services provided to kiddos with disabilities every single day.
Children's TherAplay is a non-profit, pediatric outpatient facility specializing in physical, occupational, and speech therapy for kiddos with disabilities. Kiddos also participate in hippotherapy, which uses the movement of a horse as a treatment tool. Many kiddos learn to walk, jump, write and ride a bike here at TherAplay!
Children's TherAplay is especially important to me because it changed our son Jack’s life. Jack has been going to TherAplay for Occupational and Physical therapy for the past 4 years. Jack was born with a rare genetic syndrome called Sotos Syndrome. Sotos impacts vary among individuals. One of Jack’s impacts includes low muscle tone. When Jack started at TherAplay, he needed a lot help with fine and gross motor skills. The amazing therapists have worked with us to ensure Jack could gain the confidence and strength to further develop. The combination of both traditional therapy and hippotherapy is special and has created an environment for Jack and so many other kiddos to thrive. I am so committed to the mission that I joined the TherAplay Board two years ago.
