Every Tuesday morning at Children's TherAplay, something magical happens for Victoria & Celia as they connect with their therapy horses.

Our Story

Victoria was diagnosed with autism at  2.5 years old. For over two years, she has thrived in both occupational and speech therapy sessions at TherAplay. The rhythmic movement of horseback riding has helped regulate her sensory system while simultaneously working on critical skills. What once seemed like insurmountable obstacles have now become Victoria's opportunities for joy, connection, and remarkable progress.

Celia joined the TherAplay family about two years ago for physical therapy. Her sessions have improved her balance, coordination, and core strength in ways that feel like play rather than work. The horses provide motivation, comfort, and a unique form of movement therapy that engages Celia's entire body and mind.

Beyond the incredible therapy benefits, we've found support while our daughters work with their horses. This year, we're combining our fundraising efforts with a special goal: to win a day with Banana and Peanut, the two beloved therapy ponies who have made such a difference in our daughters' lives.
