Celia started physical therapy at Children's Theraplay in September 2022, after graduating from First Steps where she began physical therapy at 3 months old. In the 2.5 years since working with Teresa at Children's Theraplay Celia has grown leaps and bounds in her confidence and strength! 

As her parents, Jerrod and I have been so proud of how hard she has worked to grow and develop her physical skills and we are so proud as she's worked hard to keep up with her peers on the playground and strengthen her muscles to do things she loves like ballet and riding her bike. It's hard to explain the impact that hippotherapy has made on her progress over the last few years, but the results speak for themselves!

Celia is a strong, confident, smart, incredibly hard-working girl and we are so proud of her!

Children’s TherAplay offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy using a horse as a treatment tool to benefit children – and their families. The families we've met here and their children are incredible and we want to do everything we can to ensure Children's Theraplay is accessible to any child who can benefit from its incredible services.
