I am participating in Canine Companions annual dogfest Fundraising event. This is such a wonderful organizaiton with a mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE OF CHARGE. My favorite part about volunteering for this organization is educating people about what these trained dogs do for people with disabilites. Anyone that knows me is aware of my love and continued amazement of these canines. I am currently raising Leonard. He is a very calm 9 month old yellow Lab. I have another 9 months with him and will continue to work on the commands, under, fetch, back, lap, up, visit, roll, out, stand and wait.
In 2023, Canine Companions placed 450 working dogs for service, facility or therapy. There are over 500 people on the wait list for their own life changing service dog. Please help me achieve my goal of providing every qualified individual with a service dog completely FREE OF CHARGE. Thank You!!
