As an Occupational Therapist and Facility Dog handler I have fierce passion for bringing independence to people. Expertly trained dogs can do just that, and so much more. I have witnessed many powerful moments between Luna and patients that are beyond words, and I have seen the life-changing work that service dogs provide for people with disabilities. I am proud to support Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Leading up to DogFest North Central, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible.
