In Memory Of Our Best Boy, Tsunami
Tsunami came into our lives in May 2014 as a CCI Service Dog for our my daughter, Emma. Little did we know that our lives would be happily changed forever. From the mellow weekends at home, to zoo trips with exciting animal encounters, to zoomies around the backyard, to the random nervous poops in public places, to the many doctor appointments, Tsunami was the one constant in our lives. He was a true companion, no judgment, only friendship and love. As his name suggests, he was a force of nature, and a force for kindness, patience, support, and compassion. One of Tsunami's many virtues as a service animal was his unique ability to be the bridge that connected Emma to her community. Through him, Emma could engage with people on a deeper level than she had before he became a part of our family. He was her gateway to new life experiences and we were all privileged to be along for the ride. There are not enough thank you's, hugs, pets, scratches, treats, walks, and toys in the world, that would adequately convey our gratitude for being a part of his life.
Forever our best boy. You were one-of-a-kind! We love you forever, and you will live on in our memories and our hearts.
Leading up to DogFest North Central, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible. Help me get to my fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. Thank you!
