We are participating in DogFest because we love dogs, and we believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge. One service dog is valued at $50,000.00, so fundraising is critical to making this happen.

Our family became involved with Canine Companions in 2018 as a way to honor the life of our beloved sister & daughter, Alissa Trucco. Since then, we have been blessed to see the amazing impact this organization has made on countless lives. Over the past 4 years, we have cherished the role of volunteer puppy raisers and have together raised 5 canine companion puppies. Peg, Libby and Amity have gone on to graduate and are currently living their best lives as service dogs. Dino is currently in professional training and is on track to graduate in August. Behati decided the service dog life wasn't for her and will live the rest of her life at home with us.

Leading up to DogFest North Central, we are raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. Help us get to our fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them. 

Thanks to your support of our fundraising efforts over the last three years, we raised enough money to name six dogs in Aliss's memory, an honor only given to the top fundraisers. We couldn't have done this without you and are forever grateful and appreciate your continued generosity continuing her memory. It is a testament to your support and the impact Alissa made on all of your lives.
