Hey everybody! I am Wesler, Edison Brewing Company’s newly appointed “Brewery Dog”. Before becoming everyone's favorite drinking buddy, I was a Canine Companions Service dog for our owner's daughter, Leah. For almost ten years, I helped Leah lead a more independent life by assisting her with picking up objects, propelling her wheelchair, and even helping her take out the trash. With my help, Leah, who has Spina Bifida, has been able to live independently, graduate with her Bachelor's and Master's, and be a more active member of her community.
Leading up to DogFest North Central, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions' mission. These dogs have an incredible impact on the lives of people with disabilities. Help me reach my fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them.
