You probably know that I've been involved with Canine Companions for over 20 years - starting with raising our first puppy, Healey. Healey did not make it through the advanced training program, so we adopted her back! After she passed, when she was 10, we raised another puppy, Kitani. Needless to say, Kitani's lack of impulse control led him to also be released from the training program and we also adopted him back! We still have Kitani, who is 12! This year we also adopted another release dog, Clyde (pictured in my Profile page.) I have also been an active volunteer at the CCI North Central Regional campus for the past year.

Leading up to DogFest North Central, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible. Help me get to my fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them.
